Print a UPI scan-and-pay card for your counter

A printed UPI QR at the counter saves spelling out your UPI ID fifty times a day. The studio builds the QR from your UPI ID following the NPCI deep-link format, so any UPI app can scan it.

Steps

  1. Add your UPI ID in Settings

Open the studio, go to Settings and fill in your UPI ID (it looks like shopname@bank). It stays on your device unless you turn on sync.

  2. Open the UPI scan-and-pay card template

The template shows your shop name, the QR and your UPI ID. Optionally set an amount to pre-fill payments.

  3. Print on your receipt printer

Print on a 58 mm or 80 mm printer. The QR is rendered as a crisp raster image, sized for reliable scanning.

  4. Test with two UPI apps

Scan the printed QR with GPay and one more app before putting it on the counter. If scanning is hard, print the QR larger.

With or without an amount

Leave the amount empty for a general counter card — the customer types the amount. Print per-bill cards with the amount filled when you want scan-and-go for a specific bill.
