About Thermal Print Studio
Thermal Print Studio is a free browser tool for designing and printing receipts, price tags, barcode labels and tickets on thermal printers. It works in millimetres, speaks ESC/POS to 58 mm and 80 mm printers over USB, Bluetooth and serial, and prints to anything else through the browser print dialog.
Who makes it
It is built by salesforceapp.tech, the small umbrella behind VyaparaBandhu (billing for shops in India), Dev Toolkit and Diagram. The studio grew out of VyaparaBandhu's receipt printing and is maintained as its own free product.
How it works, technically
- React + TypeScript app that runs entirely in your browser; designs are stored locally by default (IndexedDB).
- Optional free account (Supabase) syncs designs across devices.
- Self-hosted fonts, no font CDNs, no third-party trackers. Guest analytics are cookieless and count events only.
- Honest print statuses: the app never claims a print succeeded unless the transport confirmed it.
